When I Get You Alone is my 2016 studio album - a groove-heavy mix of soul, R&B, rock, funk, and '70s-inspired pop built around big vocals, live players, and songs that don't take themselves too seriously.

Produced by Warren Huart and co-produced by Steve Maggiora, the record moves from the swagger and funk of Get Into It and Hey Lady to the darker side of Burned, Battleground, and The Hardest Thing, with plenty of Wurlitzer, piano, Hammond organ, guitars, saxophone, strings, and deep-pocket rhythm sections along the way.

It's playful, soulful, occasionally ridiculous, and very much a snapshot of where I was musically at that point in my life - chasing great songs, great grooves, and the energy of musicians playing together.
