Unburdened - Digital Album
Unburdened is a 12-song collection rooted in soul, R&B, rock, pop, and singer-songwriter music, bringing together songs written and recorded across several different chapters of my life.
At its core, the album is about letting go of some of the weight we carry - expectations, relationships, old versions of ourselves - and making room for whatever comes next. Musically, it moves between deep-pocket grooves, horn-driven soul, stripped-back moments, gospel and blues influences, and big live-band arrangements.
The record also gave me an opportunity to bring together an incredible group of musicians and collaborators from different parts of my musical life, including Mark Lettieri, Robert "Sput" Searight, Dominique Xavier Taplin, Jon Button, Warren Huart, Bob Fridzema, Jake Hayden, Ryan Smith, 504 Horns, and many more.
