City of the Angels was written in response to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires of January 2025 - a song for the city, the people who call it home, and the firefighters and first responders who put everything on the line to protect it.

RAVIDRUMS, Steve Maggiora, and Ty Taylor came together to create something hopeful in the middle of an incredibly difficult moment. Blending soul, pop, rock, and anthemic production, the song is about resilience, community, and finding a little light when things feel impossibly dark.

All proceeds from this purchase benefit organizations supporting victims of the Los Angeles fires and the LAFD.
